Mary Jo Phillip

She was the daughter of John W. Cain and Frances Van Keuren Cain. She passed away on January 29, 2013 in Plano, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Mary Jo worked for the Plano ISD as a bus aid for special education children for over 19 years and was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano. Mary Jo enjoyed bridge, bunko and poker groups. She loved watching her two grandsons growing up.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents John and Francis Cain and her sister Jane Lau. Her survivors include her husband, John, her son David and his wife, Melissa, of Houston and her son Joseph and his wife, Joni, of Frisco and grandsons Kolby and Dylan. Also surviving are her brothers John, Mike and James Cain and her sisters Roseann Masteller and Kathy Moscatto.

Visitation will be Monday February 4th from 6pm until 8pm at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be the following day, Tuesday February 5th at 11am, also at the funeral home. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception center. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial may be made to Special Olympics Inc., 1133 19th Street NW, Washington D.C. 20036.
