Mary Alisa Davis-Little was born on October 4, 1957 in Johnson City, TN. Lisa grew up in the Florida area before she moved to Tennessee and back to Florida as an adult. Eventually Lisa moved to Plano, TX where she was a resident for the last 15 or so years. Lisa worked in commercial telecommunications here in the Dallas area. Lisa and her husband Michael loved to go on cruises. They loved cruising out of Florida and taking in the sights to see around the Caribbean, as well as exploring Mexico. Lisa also enjoyed taking care of her plants and trees around the house. More than anything though, Lisa loved taking care of her family and getting to spend time with the family in her life. Whether it was her son Justin Davis, or her and Michaels blended family of Nicholas, and Natalie or her brother, John McCarty, or sister, Marsha Ayers, Lisa loved spending time with her family. That of course carried over to her niece Lakie Michele Blackwell, and nephews Christopher A.L. Andrews and James Russell Andrews as well as the numerous nieces and nephews she had that she will miss dearly. Lisa especially cherished her time with her mother and father in law, Nancy and Lanny Little, as well as her brother-in-law, Jason Little. Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lakie Gensbugel, as well as her father, Alfred Adolf Gensbugel, and also her brother, Jerry McCarty. The family will have a service at the Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 2 PM. The family will have a gathering time just prior to that at 1 PM that all friends and family is welcome to attend.
