Linda Kay Williams Wylie

Linda Wylie was born on March 13th, 1956 in Columbus, OH. While surrounded by her loving family, Linda passed peacefully in her home on August 12, 2010, after a two year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by mother Martha Williams of Columbus, OH. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lindsay Appleby, her husband J.D., and her pride and joy granddaughter Addisyn Appleby, and devoted daughter Lauren Wylie. She is also survived by her father Don Williams, sister Vickie Bruner, niece, Richauna Marshall, her husband Justin, nephew Landon, and siblings; Rod, Daryl, and Tracy Williams. Linda enjoyed lunches with friends and family, trips to the casino, gathering with friends for game nights, and The Dallas Cowboys. Go Boys! Linda was instrumental in the development of two medical equipment companies in Houston and Dallas and was a successful entrepreneur who enjoyed helping others. Her final year was spent sharing time with her friend seeking treatment for her disease and testing new treatments for future patients. She will be sadly missed but always remembered by her infectious laugh. A memorial service will be held at Ted Dickey East Funeral Home, 2128 18th Street Plano, TX 75074, on Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
