born in Omaha, Nebraska and lived in many places around the U.S., including Colorado,
Oregon, California, Kentucky, Florida, Arizona, and Texas. She was an avid reader who loved
her pets. Baptized in the Christian faith, Kathy was a firm believer of her Lord and Savior. She
was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kolin Keith Whipple, her parents, Ben
Payne and Lois Campbell-Dahl, and her brother, Alex Carsons. She will be forever missed by
her children, Serena Nicole Whipple-Thompson and Mikel Whipple, her grandchildren, Rebecca
Marie Marsh-Bryan and Robert Keith Marsh, her great granddaughter, Lilium Eve Bryan, her
step father, Larry Dahl, her brothers, Mike Payne, Greg Payne, and Danny Payne, and her
sister, Patty Tuccitto. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday,
December 10, at 3:00PM at Atria Canyon Creek, 440 Independence Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075.
