Jennifer Nicole Wood

Jennifer Nicole (Boren) Wood, formerly of Allen, Texas, departed this life for the glories of Heaven on July 18, 2015 in Cypress, Texas. Jennifer was born in Idabel, OK, on June 4, 1976 and was adopted by Ernest and Meredith Boren. Jennifer spent most of her life growing up and living in Allen, TX. She enjoyed collecting Hot Wheel cars, attending Star Trek conventions and studying medicine. She loved animals, especially ducks.

When Jennifer was 31 years old, she accepted Christ as her Savior. On January 2nd, 2015, Jennifer married Tim Wood of Houston, the man who loved and cared for her as she was. She considered this her greatest accomplishment and joy in life. Jennifer will be interred in the DFW National Cemetery where she will await her beloved Tim.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Tim Wood of Houston, TX, her parents, Ernest and Meredith Boren of Allen, her two cats, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service for Jennifer will be held on Saturday morning, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, TX 75074.

A visitation will be held the evening prior, Friday, July 24, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM also at Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
