Gloria Annetta Purnell

Gloria was a Devoted wife mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law whose love never waivered. The greatest of all was her never-ending love and trust in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was a loving and selfless caregiver to many, especially our dad for more years than we can count.

Mom we know you are sitting with Jesus pain-free, clear-minded enjoying God's Love which you have shared with others for many years.

Rest in Peace, Mom, we Love you and will Miss you more than you can imagine.

Gloria is survived by her son, Robert Q. Purnell (Brakelle Purnell); daughter, Barbara Leake (Mike Leake); brothers, Joe Duncan (Natalie Duncan) and Mark Duncan; grandchildren, Mike Leake Jr. (Katie Leake), John Robert Leake, Connor Purnell, Allie Corrado (Dominic Corrado); great-grandchildren, Grant Michael Leake and Luka John Leake; extended family, Daughter, Toni Purnell and son, Jimmy Purnell; grandchildren, Ty Gunnlaugsson, Kamen Gunnlaugsson, Baylee Gunnlaugsson, James Purnell (Janelle Purnell); great grandchildren, River, Meadow and North, many special nieces and nephews and special neighbor, Matthew Freiberger.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Purnell; Dad, Tex Duncan; mother, Josephine Duncan; brother, Johnny Duncan and Sister-in-law, Stephany Duncan.

A committal service for Gloria will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
