Gertrude “Dolly” (Kilduff) Robinson, age 74, passed away on October 13, 2011 in Plano, TX following a brief illness. She was born on January 30, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to John Edward and Gertrude Baldwin Kilduff. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, John Edward Kilduff, Jr., Margaret Kilduff, Patricia Kilduff and Delores Kyriacos. She is survived by her three children, Jean Jones and husband Donnie, Don Robinson, Jr., Sue Paris and husband Ed; seven grandchildren, Justin McKenzie, Greg Jones and wife Amanda, Heather Corn and husband David, Kristin McKenzie and fiancé Daniel Zeito, Cody Jones, Jerika Robinson and Jennelle Robinson; 6 great-grandchildren, Chloe McKenzie, Austin Corn, Peyton McKenzie, Ryan Jones, Jordan Corn and Jack Jones; sisters, Katie Rowley and Ann Sloat; brother, Richard Kilduff. Dolly was also loved dearly by many others she treated like her own family. Dolly was raised in Baltimore and graduated from Seton High School in 1955 where she was a star basketball player. She married Donald Robinson in 1957 and they were married for 21 years. The family relocated to Plano, TX in 1975. Dolly was an employee at Tom Thumb Grocery Stores for the last 35 years and was loved by coworkers and customers alike. Dolly was always an avid fan of her local sports teams. She especially loved and enjoyed watching ‘her’ Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers. Dolly will be dearly missed by her family and friends. To celebrate Dolly’s life, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Ted Dickey Funeral Home. A reception for family and friends will follow in the funeral home reception area.
