Evelyn "Marie" Hutto

Marie was born on October 31, 1922 in Nevada, Texas, the youngest child of her father: Horace Greeley Wiley and her mother: Lenora Kelly.

She married Frederick J. Swartz in 1943. Frederick preceded Marie in death in 1966.

Marie later married Roy Hutto in 1976. Roy preceded her in death on December 9, 2016.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Harrell Arthur Swartz, brothers: H.G. Wiley, Preston Wiley, and one sister: Bernice Gaskin, and one son in law Mervin Rhea. She is also preceded in death by two grandsons: Michael Bret Anderson and Ward Blaine Anderson.

Marie is survived by two daughters: Saundra (husband Ed) DeLaMater of Terrell, Texas, and Annette Rhea of Josephine, Texas.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Michael William Scharff, Frederick Charles "Charlie" Jones, and Christopher David Rhea.

Two great granddaughters: Ashlynn Blakely Scharff and Addison Blaine Scharff.

One great great granndaughter: Cora Rene Jones.

And two step-sons: John (wife Robbie) Hutto and Tim (wife Dianna) Hutto.

Great grandchildren: Calum Jones, Cameron Jones, and Cordale Jones.

A funeral service for Marie will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074.

Chaplain Mike Weaver of Silverado Hospice will officiate.

Entombment will follow at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum where Marie will be entombed with her husband Frederick.

Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano, Texas has charge of arrangements.
