She was a dear friend of mine.  We worked on the same  team  at MetLife and continued our  friendship after  her retirement.  We would  meet  every  month  for  our movies, dinner and to just  talk.   She kept me laughing; she had such a great  sense of  humor. She loved her son and those grandchildren more than words can describe.  I will  miss  her  so much. 

Working with Deb was so much fun. I miss our lunches with the girls. One of my fondest memories is Deb telling me how she was in the movie Robo Cop.  I thought that was typical Deb. Always up for an adventure.  She shared the many counties she visited and some of her amazing adventures with me.  She is missed.

Debbie always had a smile on her lips and a laugh in her heart. She shared her happy spirit on many a night of play rehearsals and performances. The whole world was her stage and we were lucky to be part of the fun. Condolences to her family and those who loved her. Time for your big entrance, Debbie. Enter stage "up", to heaven
 

Loved being friends and step sister to Debbie. We lived on the same street in Bacliff, there were enough kids on our street to have baseball and football teams. Fond memories. She may be gone from this Earth but never forgotten.

Such a sweet person and so talented. I had hoped to see her again at our 50th high school reunion. I know she will be missed by so many friends and relatives.  Sending prayers to all her loved ones. Linell Pauls Mcgallian 

September babies were always the best! Never knew Debbie to say an unkind word to anyone and I am sad we won’t see her at reunion. Prayers and thoughts for her family. Rest In Peace. 

Debbie will always be remembered by her High School classmates as being full of life and fun to be around.  Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there's a memory they live in our hearts to stay.  She will never be forgotten.

Deborah Grubbs lived 68 years traveling life as a successful Dallas Baptist University Graduate, Business Woman, Loving mother, and Friend to many. She passed April 18, 2020 of colon cancer after only having learned about it days before. She was loved by many in the Dallas area as well as in her hometown of BayCliff, Texas.

I will miss my cousin on our weekly Tuesday lunches.
