Catherine Rose Thiemann

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano Texas. A second memorial service and interment will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 in Oakland, Nebraska.

Cathy was born July 14, 1949 in Oakland, Nebraska to George and Leona Lewis Guill. Cathy grew up in Decatur and Lyons, Nebraska where she graduated from high school. She then continued her education in Omaha, Nebraska. Cathy was a mortgage banker and was employed at the time of her death by First Western Title.

Cathy married Lee Thiemann on November 18, 1977 in Beloit, WI. They have called Richardson Texas home for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Cathy is preceded in death by her mother Leona Lewis Guill; she is survived by her father, George Guill of Oakland, Nebraska; her husband, Lee of Richardson, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Krissy and Matt Mentemeier of McKinney, Texas; her 2 son’s and their spouses, Scott & Tracy Nielsen of Elkhorn, Nebraska; Brian and Bridget Nielsen of Gretna, Nebraska; and five grandchildren, Alyson Nielsen; Abigayl Nielsen; Spencer Nielsen; Teagan Nielsen and Kameron Mentemeier. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Randy Guill of Norfolk, Nebraska; John Guill of Oakland, Nebraska and two sisters, Candy Brink of Parker, Colorado; and Nona Van Damme of Hayes, Kansas; nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives and close friends.
