Carol is survived by her three daughters: Kristen (husband, Blake) of Weston, FL, Adrienne of Ambler, PA, and Jacqueline (husband, Brandon) of Montgomery, TX. She was a devoted Grandma to her four beautiful grandchildren, Carson (18), Tanner (15), Brady (5), and Minley (3).
Carol was born on November 13, 1943 in Ridley Park, PA a daughter of James Patrick Joyce and Sarah Agnes Gallagher. Carol and her surviving twin, Kevin, were the youngest of the Joyce children raised in Chester, PA. She is also survived by her older sister, Pat Garvey. Carol attended Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA.
She married Glenn Karle on November 17, 1972 in Chester, PA at St. Roberts Catholic Church. In 1973, they moved to Plano and raised their three daughters in the community of St. Marks the Evangelist Catholic Church. Carol resigned from her job at IBM in 1977 to be a full time mom. She volunteered at the girls' elementary schools, supported her daughters at multiple extra-curricular activities, and coached volleyball. She loved the shore and would look forward to visiting her family and spending time jumping waves every summer. She went back to work in 1994 for JCPenney (Headquarters, Plano) where she served the business for 25 years in multiple HR roles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, located in Plano. There will be a luncheon held at the church after the Funeral Mass. Committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas.
Carol had a deep personal relationship with her Heavenly Father and has now been reunited with her parents and siblings, Catherine, Sarah, Jim, and Maureen. Her three daughters will miss her on-point jokes, silly texts, fun phone conversations, and lovely visits home; but they find peace she's with her Savior, Jesus.
