Antonia Marez Carpio

Antonia Marez Carpio, 94, of Plano, TX, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was born in El Ancon, Guanajuato on January 24, 1930. Antonia during her working years was a housekeeper. But her family remembers her as much more than that. Some of the words and phrases that they use to describe her are: "very loving", "she never gave up", "she was our 4x4 mom", and "she had a loving heart". Antonia raised her four children and she fought courageously to the end. She was their warrior as Juana stated.

Later in life Antonia enjoyed the simpler things. She enjoyed being able to be that loving grandmother. She is known for her cooking. She would enjoy looking at the beautiful flowers while at her son's house. When the flowers gave her enough joy, she would find more joy looking at the cows lazily meander across the field. This "very strong" lady will be by so many. She is survived by children Francisco, Antonia, Juana, and Maria Guadalupe. The continue her legacy are her grandchildren Vanessa, Jonathan, Juan Manuel, Paul, Daniel, Junior, Veronica, Nestor, Carlos, Erica, Nancy, Gloria, and Chris.
