Rocco N. Figalora of Plainview NY left us on January 25, 2023. Born to Lorenzo Figalora and Rosaria Stabile, Rocco grew up in Manhattan, moved to Queens, NY and finally resided in Plainview NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Teresa and his sons, Lawrence (Kathy), Richard (Jane) and Michael (Donna). Cherished Grandpa and Pop-Pop of Meghan, Anthony, Matthew, Sarah, Vincent, Allyson and Teresa. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Army stationed in Japan and was a member of VFW Post 5942 and the American Legion. Rocco worked at Arma Bosch and Grumman Aerospace as an Electrical Engineer and assisted in the development and construction of the Apollo Lunar Module. His hobbies included photography, golfing, gardening and fixing things. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St.Jude.org.
