Berry, Grace (nee Ocker) a lifelong resident of Plainview passed away on May 27, 2022. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Robert Berry. Loving mother of Susan Devine and the late Diane Luedtke. Cherished grandmother of Erin Phillips and Lauren Bates. Great grandmother of Tristan Phillips and Oscar Bates. A Cum Laude graduate of Hofstra and president of Kappa Omicron. Grace worked in the personnel department of Grumman Aerospace during WW II. A founder and active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview. A charter and life member of Plainview P.T.A. District chairman of the Girl Scouts for many years. A 50 year member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Plainview Fire Department. Family and friends may visit at the Vernon C. Wagner funeral home, 655 Old Country Rd. Plainview on Wednesday, June 1st at 2-4 & 6-8 he funeral service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview on Thursday, June 2nd at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery on 1000 Washington Ave. Plainview, NY Donations can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in memory of Grace Berry
