I miss you alot,  I think  of you always  Gary,  you are always in my thoughts. love marlene [choochoo].

So sorry to hear this sad news.  I was having a glass of wine with my wife approximately two years ago and and I told her I’m going to call Gary in Florida and tell him in all my years of working I have to tell him that he was the best boss , supervisor I ever had in my 45 plus years of working. I called him and told him he was the best and he treated me like a  human should be and how much I  appreciated him while working for him at Kordet Graphics. Gary was so thankful I told him that and he actually started to cry and I told him just saying the truth. He was so proud of his brother Peter who was the owner of Kordet 
and wanted the best out of our pre press department which Gary made sure we all were treated fair and in return we worked harder. It was sad when I got laid off when the Daily news took over and all had to go our separate ways in the early 90’s while I was only in my mid 30’s with young children but when Gary moved to Florida I always exchanged Christmas cards and phone calls because he truly was a great man I will never forget. He would tell me how proud he was of his family and how he loves Florida. God Bless you Gary until we all meet again and thank you to the best boss ever, Tony Catarelli 🙏🏻❤️




Gary was my neighbor and friend .  Eventhough I moved and told Gary he should do the same (which he owned up to -he said he was too old!).  We always kept in touch and he would still ask me about the Assoc.!   We had lots of great conversations, but not sure that we solved anything, it was always interesting.  He would ask me to rabbit sit Petie when he went out of town.  Never could catch him, he would finally give up and go into his cage!   I told him that would cost him!   My condolences to his family and to Peter, he will be missed.

many good times with Gary starting when he married Brenda.
Parties, Sunday pastries at Jones Beach with guitars, drums, sing along sonogs. Drinking in the Click, Big Als,  Many Hamptons bars,
"In My Little Red Book" naughty Limericks song, Piano on the Roof at the Office and many other stories, too many to list.
Hope you'll meet other friends who are gone..
