Carolyn was born on October 9, 1932 in Jamaica, Queens, New York, the only child born to Emma and Alfred McGrath. For many years Carolyn worked as a telephone operator at Central General hospital in Plainview, New York. On May 26, 1951 she married Joseph P Kwarta Jr. and together they started a wonderful family.
They are survived by their eight children and their spouses; Dawn(Rich), Lynn(Barry), Jean(Rich), Elen(Joe), Alys(Steve), James(Margot), Paul(Erica) and David(Bonnie). From them Carolyn was given 20 beautiful grandchildren; Brian, Christopher, Daniel, Nicole, Nicholas, Kyle, Alicia, Caitlin, Sara, Amanda, Victoria, Geena, Jamie, Anthony, Carter, Kelly, John Paul, Isabella, Joseph and Sabrina. With this wonderfully large family Caroline had the chance to enjoy her six great grandchildren as well; Braydon, Nathan, Harper, Theodore, Audrey and Scarlett.
Carolyn lived a spectacular life. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
