Norma Dibbell was born in Westwood, New Jersey and passed away at home in Placerville, CA. Norma is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank; sons, Frank III (Paula), Christopher (Abby), Bruce (Carol) and Robert; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one great grandson and her sister Shirley Smith.
When Norma’s children were growing up in Sunnyvale, she was known as the sucker lady to all the neighborhood kids. Her career included many years in sales at Macy’s and later as a Medical Assistant. She and Frank moved to El Dorado County in 1989 after retiring. Norma was an avid crafter. She especially enjoyed needle point, plastic canvasing and crocheting. Many of her crafts are treasured by those who received them as gifts.
A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at Snowline Hospice who provided Norma with such wonderful care. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines, Placerville, CA.
