Louisa Ella Boeding

Louisa Ella Boeding was born April 20, 1925 in Placerville, CA and passed away peacefully at her home on November 12, 2014 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ambrose "Ham" Boeding, and her brother, Arthur Carbine. She is survived by her loving and devoted niece, Norma Quigley (Bill) of Placerville; niece, Penny Kneale (David) of Orangevale; niece, Vicki Struthers (Doug) of Pollock Pines; 4 great nephews; 7 great-great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great-great niece; and many cousins and personal lifelong friend.

Louisa was a graduate of El Dorado High School and was on the Alumni Board for many years. She was an active member of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery where she was the President of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Corporation for over 25 years. Louisa worked for Safeway Stores and later for Placerville Fruit Growers Assn. where she was the records keeper. She loved to travel and work outdoors in her vegetable garden and will be missed by all her wildlife friends on her property.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be donated to Snowline Hospice, the Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Sunday, November 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Building on Placerville Drive.
