Dear Pete,  P.S., Quite a gathering , haven't seen that many Seniors under one roof since my last visit to the Nursing Home. Proves what a special guy you were. R.I.P.  our friend.

Uncle Pete was such a friendly, helpful, relaxed and happy person, and always made me feel like one of the family. He would come up and visit my wife Cindy (Brekke) and our family in Washington and always keep us up to dates on his traveling exploits throughout the world, he sure loved those trips. He will be greatly missed.

Pete and I were best friends. I thought of him so often, and failed to give him a call. We worked together in the hops, rode horses at my grandfather's place, played poker with Bill Wahr, cut records with Kent Wilson, drank Pepsi at store outside the prison gate, sat on his porch when he was sick, and he helped me learn to walk again playing ping pong, picking up all the balls, and talking like we were out of the panhandle of Oaklahoma. We were not perfect boys by any stretch of imagination but we sure shared lots of memories at school reunions. Bertha, I am glad you had an E-mail relationship with Pete.

I was a schoolmate of Pete's,grade thru high school. Wonderful person and friend, enjoyed exchanging emails. To all who knew Pete, may our abundance of memories soon replace our sorrow of his passing. GOD bless you Pete and your family in this time of sorrow,
