Jo Ann Striegel passed away at her home in Pollock Pines on Feb. 16, 2015 after a short illness. Jo Ann was the beloved wife of 32 years to Bill Striegel; loving mother of Lonnie (Fernando) Harrington, Kevin (Carol) Harrington, Hallie (Mike) McNaney and the Late Mark Harrington; step-mother of John (Cindy) Striegel, Kathleen (James) Pence, Mary Jane Striegel, Patricia Pasco and William Striegel, Jr. Jo Ann is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jo Ann was a teacher in the Eureka and Susanville area schools and her and Bill retired to Pollock Pines 22 years ago. She was the past president of the Dogwood Garden Club of Pollock Pines and was an avid reader and active in the Pollock Pines Book Club.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Jo Ann’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville. Private inurnment has been held.
