Frank O. Burnette, Jr. passed away at home from a prolonged illness on Oct. 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife Wendy, his daughter Whitney, both from Shingle Springs, and 2 sons, Adrian and Joszef from Keystone, SD. He also has 2 surviving brothers, Alan from Columbus, OH and Steve from Saco, Maine, one surviving sister Brenda from Finlay, OH and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was born 5/4/1954 in Lima, OH to Frank O Burnette Sr and Patricia H Murray Burnette, both deceased.
He graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf HS in 1972, entered the US Army and was part of the 101st Airborne Division. In his adult life he was a Union rep for Lima, Ohio USPS and a machinist for the former Claude Sintz in Deshler, OH.
A memorial mass will be held on Oct. 24 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville, CA at 11:30 am with a rosary at 11. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com
