i am shocked and saddened to only just find out about Doug’s passing. I was a big fan of all his work and instagram collections and would have loved to collaborate on something with him. We exchanged messages on ig now and then about how there should be new platforms for uncensored art. I realised i hadnt seen any of his posts for a long time and assumed he was immersed in a new project. Very sad to hear the news so late. i will miss his online presence. 💔

I worked with Doug at WebEx. He was one of the most naturally gifted Salespeople I've ever met. Intelligent, articulate, strategic...We lost touch and I'm just learning of his passing.  So very sorry to hear this-my deepest condolences. May his memory be a blessing.

I also never let Doug, but knew of his work and teach my students about his unique take on documentary photography. I just learned of his death, and am very sad about it. My deepest condolences to his family.

I never met Doug, but I have shown his work to students for many years. He was truly inspiring.  I am genuinely saddened by his passing. 

I met Doug when he was in high school and he was a roommate of mine for a brief time in San Jose, Ca.  My brother Nick was one of Doug’s best friends and I will always remember all the great times we all shared together.

Doug had the most creative mind and the ability to see what everyone else couldn't. We would talk for hours about how he saw his art and what drew him to it, just like we were all drawn to him. You will be missed, my friend, I am going to really miss those stock talk sessions you James and I had. Hope your amazing family is doing well.
