Arthur Edward Hanna

April 16, 1920 - February 7, 2014

Arthur Edward Hanna passed away in Placerville, CA on February 7, 2014. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marian Hanna; loving father of Arthur Hanna, Jr. of Crescent City, Ca, Matthew (Marla) Hanna of Kachsiung, Taiwan, Nathan (Sandra) Hanna of Mekoryuk, Alaska and the Late Anne Winckler; devoted grandfather of Michael, Arthur James, Luke, Rose, Beth, Jayne and Arthur Stanley.

A native of Silver Lake, Ohio, born April 16, 1920. Arthur was a navigator on a B17 with the Army Air Corps in WWII. He was an avid model railroader and train enthusiast and was a member of the El Dorado County Western Railroad Historical Society. Arthur was a Bible teacher for over 30 years and a member of the Gold Country Baptist Church of Shingle Springs.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville. Interment will be held Tuesday, February 18th at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. Contributions in Arthur’s name may be made to the Missions Fund of Gold Country Baptist Church, 3800 No. Shingle Rd., Shingle Springs, CA 95682.
