91 of Punxsutawney, formerly of Cranberry Twp, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born May 31, 1922 in the Southside, a son of the late Nick and Anna (Heczko) Dukevik. He was the loving husband of the late Martha J. (Haffner) Drake, beloved father of Ned (Peggy) Drake of Punxsutawney, grandfather of Bryan (Vicki) Drake of Easton, Pa and Mark (Carla) Drake of Charleston, SC; great grandfather of Emily Drake of Easton, Pa.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Stanley and a sister, Rose.
Walter was a member of the Moose Lodge and was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII.
Friends will be received Tuesday from noon until 2pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc, 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp, 412-364-4444.
