Vincent R. Fenicato, 97, of Ross Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born on December 4, 1927, in Pittsburgh, to the late Michael and Maryann (Vallelunga) Fenicato. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Colosimo) Fenicato on July 18, 2017.
Vincent was a former volunteer fireman for the Quaill Volunteer Fire Department in Ross Twp., and a member of Assumption Roman Catholic Church. Vincent had proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed singing, playing the drums, and going out and dancing with Joan.
He is survived by his three daughters, Angela M. (Paul) Hoffman, Michelle A. (Ron) Shewchuk, Joanne V. (Greg) Novak, his four grandchildren, Sara, Rachael, Eric, and Olivia.
In addition to his parents and his wife Joan, he was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Fenicato, three sisters, Anna Serafini, Mary Lauria, and Rose Morrow.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Assumption Roman Catholic Church – Regina Coeli Parish 45 N. Jackson Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
Entombment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
