Susan Louise (Hrabak) Vukson, age 58, of McCandless Township, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was the loving wife of thirty-eight years to John T. Vukson, devoted mother of John T. Vukson, Jr. of McCandless Township and Emily L. Vukson of Cranberry Township; sister of Estelle Hrabak (Dennis Mathews) of Barrington, New Hampshire, Claudia Hrabak of Crafton and William Hrabak (Therese) of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; daughter of the late A. Louis and Irene Hrabak. Family and friends will be received 5-8 PM Thursday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, (412-364-4444). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday at 10 AM in St. John Neumann Church, (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) 2230 Rochester Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Burial will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, 204 Cemetery Lane, Ross Township. Sue, worked in quilting shops and loved to share her passion by teaching quilting for seven years. The past fifteen years, she had been employed in the eye care business, currently with the Sewickley Eye Group, where she enjoyed fun and fashion with glass frames. Sue also served as a volunteer for Animal Friends. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to the UNBOUND Charity, 1 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City, KS 66103, unbound.org.
