Samuel M. Foster, 75, of Avalon, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Beloved husband of Bernice (Carey), loving father of Samuel D. (fiancée Brenda L. Hepner), Tracy (Scott) Harris and Deborah (Tim) Banyas. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Zachary, Benjamin, Daniel, Kate and Alexander. Sam was retired from U.S.Steel and a longtime member of Greenstone United Methodist Church. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 am.
