Ruth K. (Hillegas) Stanton, 101, of Ross Twp, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She was born August 9, 1908 in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late William W. and Amelia E. (Summerhill) Hillegas. She was the beloved wife of the late Alex Vale Stanton. Loving mother of Kerma Amelia Stanton and the late Alice Ruth Stanton. In addition to her daughter she is survived by several cousins. Ruth was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was active in various church groups and activities. She was also a Sunday School teacher for 18 years.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 11am until the time of service at 12 noon in the Faith Lutheran Church, 161 6th Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa 15229. Interment will be private in Homewood Cemetery.
