Roland H Gray

Roland H. Gray, 94, of McCandless Twp., on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Beloved husband of Marjorie Gray. Loving father of Larry (Marilyn) Gray, Kenneth (Gladys) Gray and Virginia (James) Morton; proud grandfather of Bethany (Scott) Canterberry, Philip (Heather) Gray, Pamela (Jason) Matthews, David (Melissa) Gray, Traci (Stephen) Sweetser and Kristin (Andrew) Kozusko; great-grandfather of Tyler, Justin and Brendan Canterberry, Chandler, Luke and Caison Gray, Jordan, Samuel and Joshua Matthews, Rachael and Abigail Sweetser and Roman Kozusko. He is preceded in death by his first wife Betty Gray and grandson Bradley Morton.

During WWII Roland was employed by the United States War Department serving as a Signal Operator, stationed on the Great Lakes. He was the morning engineer for Pittsburgh Radio Stations KQV, WCAE and WJAS owner of Gray Sound & Communication Systems and the A/V engineer for Boca Community Church, Boca Raton, FL.

Friends received Thursday 11am until time of service 1:00pm at Memorial Park Presbyterian Church, 8800 Peebles Rd., Allison Park. Interment to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600
