Robert Zbozny

Robert Charles Zbozny, 56, of Avalon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Beloved father of Maria (Michael) Mulligan, and Jennifer and Jessica Zbozny; proud grandfather of Alexander Zbozny and Jason Mulligan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dolores Zbozny and his brother, Thomas Zbozny. Robert attended Central Catholic HS and was a graduate of Duquesne University. He worked as an emotional support teacher for the Pittsburgh Public School District and was the house supervisor for Acheiva of Allegheny County, working with the mentally handicapped.

Friends received Friday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Saturday at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment to follow at a later date in Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
