Philomena Scalise, 83, of Avalon, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Beloved wife of the late John S. Scalise. Loving mother of Joanne (Richard) Tripoli and Ginny Everard; proud grandmother of James (Lisa) and Rick (Megan) Tripoli and Jonathan and Laura Everard; sister of James Salvatore and Nicholas (Carol) Fratto.
Friends received Thursday 2 to 4pm and 6-8pm at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10am at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment will be at a later date at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
