Peyton was born on January 13, 1975 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from the last class of Richland High School before it became known as Pine Richland. He then studied English at Wittenberg University, where he was a proud member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Peyton was a passionate football fan and could often be found cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Michigan Wolverines. When he wasn’t rooting for his favorite teams, Peyton loved to be outside skiing, golfing, and sailing. He was also a musically gifted drummer and talented chef. He will be remembered as a wonderful partner, father, son, brother, and friend.
Peyton is survived by his loving partner of seventeen years, Erin Snedeker; daughters, Taylor, Maura, and Mikaela; grandson, Octavian; parents, Harry and Katherine Wagner; siblings, Michael, Toby, Jason, Cory, Desirae, Jodi, Bianca, and Ashley; extended family, Sherry Case and Willie McCarter; and his sweet puggle, Lily.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 4pm-7pm at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
