Pauline Grieninger

She was born on August 4, 1919 in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Nathan Mack Setser and Minnie Jane (Bunch).

Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty six years, Howard C. Grieninger, son of the late John Beaver Grieninger and Emma Cleveland (Fiser). They were blessed with two children, Donald and Linda Grieninger. Pauline was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest T. Smith. They were blessed with three children, Joyce Ann, Robert and Phyllis.

Pauline was preceded in death by three children, Joyce (Smith) Curtner, Robert Smith and Donald Grieninger; three siblings, Mabel Elizabeth Setser, Charles Willard Setser and Kenneth Setser; nine half-siblings, Elizabeth (Eliza) Setser, Florence Sarah (Sallie) Setser, Rose (Rosa) (Setser) Petrey, Albert Robert Setser, Tandy Jefferson Setser, Janine Cora Setser, William Simmie Setser, Dave L. Setser and Gladys Christine Brittain.

Pauline is survived by two daughters, Phyllis (Smith) Raithel and Linda Grieninger (John Kardos); four grandchildren, Renee Katzenbach, Nicole Katzenbach-Strohl and her husband, Cordell Strohl, Christine (Curtner) Kovich and her husband, Michael George Kovich and Mark Katzenbach; six great grandchildren, Jarrod Bailey, Mitchell Bailey, McKenna Ditty, Kian Ditty, Devyn Katzenbach, Matthew Kovich and Christopher Kovich; and one great-great grandchild, Harper Bailey.

She was a strong, beautiful, loving mother and grandmother who will always be in the minds and souls of those lives she touched.

A Funeral Service for Pauline is scheduled for Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
