Nancy "Neen" Mae Lindsay, 86, of Evans City, PA passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She was born in West View, PA on May 15, 1938, the youngest daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline (Winter) Lindsay.
Neen loved to follow every Steelers and Penguins game, a good mystery book, was a proud University of Pittsburgh alum, and a source of constant strength in our family. She didn't need a lot to be happy -- just a nice glass of white zinfandel or a beer, time with an animal she loved, a chat with a loved one, or the opportunity to report on the weather.
She is survived by her niece, Rachel L. Wynn (Dennis Mellon); great-niece, Lindsay J. Wynn; cousin, Donn Frizzi (Debbie Hedemann) and four-legged friends, Daisy and Rosie. She will be greatly missed by all of us around every holiday table.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Carolyn "Duck" I. Lindsay and Joanne L. Wynn, and four-legged friend, Izzy. The family would like to thank her loving neighbors on Kaufman Road for all the years of friendship.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27 from 4 PM until 8 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 29 at 12 PM at the funeral home with visitation beginning at 11 AM; burial to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Warrendale.
Memorial donations in Nancy's memory may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Rd., Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
