Matt, aka, Bo by those closest to him, was a cherished son, father, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. A$$hole will always be the 1st word that comes to mind when you think of Bo. Not because of what we thought of him but because that's how he regularly referred to himself. In Many ways, perhaps he was. He was loud, judgmental, opinionated and messy. To those that knew and loved him he was kind, gentle, generous and absolutely hysterical (although crass). He had a wonderful sense of humor and was never afraid to make fun of himself. He always made people smile.
Matt loved those closest to him because he gave his entire heart, although sometimes quietly and from a great distance. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends and to some who did not deserve it. His laughter, smile and love of loud motors will live on in the Matt-size hole that is now left in our hearts.
Matt is survived by his loving mother, Victoria Pope his step father David Brown who he loving called pops, his father Douglas Pelkofer. His cherished sisters; the Irish twin, Nicole Pelkofer (Peter) and Angela King (Brad), His brother AJ Pope (Becky) and his step brothers Cody, Nash, and Bruin. He also leaves behind his son Brody and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by his dog Harley.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents Matt and Elaine Pope and great grandmother Helen Goodman. Matt worked as a Master Mechanic for Jim Shorkey Dealership for many years he will be missed by his co-workers and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in the near future by family.
