Marilyn K. Smith Messmer

age 74 of Shaler Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 24, 2017. Loving wife of 24 years to Melvin K. Messmer; devoted mother of Terri Tuma and her husband Jeff, Vicki Hopkinson and her husband Mark, Sr., Julie Baldinger and the late Pam Decker. She was the proud "Mono" of Mark Jr., Shayne and his wife Shayla, Lucas and four other grandchildren and one late grandchildren; great "Mono" of Ava, and seven other great grandchildren and one late great grandchild. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, the late Arthur and Kathryn Smith and her brother, the late Arthur Smith, Jr. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, (412-364-4444).
