Leah Ann McClain

Leah Ann (Cuda) McClain, 59, of McCandless, passed away on March 13, 2023 after a long-term illness. She was born to Richard and Joan (Berie) Cuda on August 25, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Joan Cuda.

A native Pittsburgher, Leah Ann was born and raised in Bellevue, where she graduated from Northgate High School. She then studied Cosmetology and began a career as a hairdresser. Leah Ann met her husband, Bob, in 1992 through a mutual friend. In 1995, they were married and raised two beautiful twin girls, Maggie and Katie, in McCandless. Leah Ann loved to curl up with a good book (especially romance novels, of which she owned many). She also took guitar lessons over the years and accumulated five guitars total! When she wasn’t strumming one of her guitars or reading, she loved to play cards with her friends. Leah Ann was a kind wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Leah Ann is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Robert McClain; their daughters, Maggie and Katie McClain; her brother, Joseph (Rita) Cuda; her niece, Meghan Cuda and nephew, Patrick Cuda; and many caring friends.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 6th from 10am-1pm at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
