Jean Gibson

Jean "Neas" Gibson, age 100, of Wexford, Pennsylvania was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, October 31, 2021. JEAN was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on May 12, 1921 to the late Raymond and Ruth Neas.

She was the loving wife to the late A. David Gibson.

Left behind to honor her life are her children David (Diane) Gibson and Merry (Jon) Barilla. She was the proud grandmother to; Bonnie Bassett, Amy Berkebile, David Gibson, Cameron Strothman, Alexis Meier and Nicholas Barilla. Great-grandmother to; Sam, Noah, Eli, Olivia, Maggie, Max, Declan, Lincoln and Vail.

Jean was the example of integrity, grace and kindness. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and committed her life to helping others. For 40 years she volunteered at Passavent Hospital and was an active member of her church. She enjoyed traveling the world with her late husband David while he served in the United States Air Force. She was a proud military wife and mother. Jean led a fulfilling life that was driven by the love of her family.

Friends are welcomed to the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Thursday November 4, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM and November 5, 2021 9AM to 10AM. A service will take place at the funeral home chapel at 10AM with Pastor George Palombo officiating from Orchard Hill Church.
