Please accept my sincerest sympathy. I was honored to call your Mom a friend for many years, thanks to you, Norm, Scouting, and of course, St.Andrew's.   Thank God that we will always have our fond memories!

Chris, our thought and prayers are with you and your family.  So sorry to learn of your loss.

Remembering the years on the Pitt Rifle Team and being taken home by Sarge!

She drove a lot of people nuts including family and friends (spring cleaning, spur of the moment thoughts, last minute ideas that HAD to be done NOW, like moving furniture for a social visit, etc), but we are ALL better for having her as part of our lives.  I met her in my late teens and I always felt welcome in her home.

We purchased our home from Ingeborg 25 years ago and thought then and now that she was an extraordinary woman - a unique blend of strength and kindness.  Every neighbor concurred.  She was a tough act to follow.
Being new to the city and not knowing a soul, she understood and graciously offered to watch our newborn so that we could do some last minute Christmas shopping.  When we arrived home, she had potatoes boiling, a roast in the oven and a little German Santa Claus ornament for our tree.  We've hung it on our tree very year since.  Ingeborg christened this home for us, and we will be forever grateful for having known her.

Dear Norman & Gina, and Christopher and Carol and family, Your Mother will be truely missed by all of us who knew and loved her.  Growing up together with you here in Pittsburgh, I, and all of our remaining family, (our folks are gone as is our brother Ken now) admired your Mother for her strength and independence, and her "mothering" of even those of us that were simply friends. We have often thought of her, and of you over the years, and deeply regret that we never connected for a visit after Tom's passing.  Please know that she and you all are in our thoughts and prayers.  We will be out of town on Saturday, but please know that we are with you in spirit at her memorial service.  Affectionately,

So sorry for your loss Chris, i am sure she is in heaven looking down proud of what you have become.  You and your family are in our prayers.

Inga's life is a story of strength and perseverance.  She taught me much as a child and a young adult and I will always have a very fond place in my heart for her.

So sorry to hear about your mother, Chris. I have fond memories of our childhood in Highland Park as well as college and after. I am sending my prayers to you and your family.
