Ida Mae “Honey” Rhodes, 95, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born on March 15, 1929 in Pittsburgh to the late Anthony and Julia Gamelier. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Whitey” Rhodes.
Honey enjoyed watching her granddaughter; Dana play softball, she loved shopping with her girls, cooking and lunches at Rico’s. She was known for making the best Italian Cannoli’s.
Honey will be missed by her loving daughter; Dawn (Marty) Pecanis of Ross Township and her special granddaughter; Dana (Tony) Simile of Hampton Township.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brother’s.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 where a service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
Honey will be laid to rest at Christ our Redeemer Cemetery.
