Helen Evans Robbins

Helen Evans Robbins, age 97, formerly of Westview, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 23, 2018. Loving mother to daughters, Ruthanne Evans Springer (William K.), and Karen Lee Evans McCue (Jerome S.). A loving grandmother to Kim (Springer) Peck (Greg), William K. Springer, Jr. (Edna), Kelly Lee Adams (Brad), Jennifer Evans Rivas (Julio); great grandchildren, Zachary Adam Peck, William Karl Springer, III, Karolina Elizabeth Rivas, Samuel James Farmer, Emily Margaret Springer, Gabriella Marie Rivas, Grace Caroline Farmer, Ashley Christina Rivas, Deigo Jackson Springer. Also survived by two step children, Jan Robbins House (Brynn), Morrison Robbins Jr. (Kathy); step grandchildren, Christie Shaler Young (Will), Terrence James Shaler, Michael House, Jennifer Robbins, TJ Robbins; step great grandchildren Isabella Springer, Sydney Young, John House, and David House; and a sister of Wade D. and Curtis A. Peters. A graduated of Perry High School, and attended Carnegie Tech Art School. Helen worked as a secretary at Northmont Presbyterian Church for twenty five years, and she volunteered at North Hills Community Outreach. She lived in both McCandless Twp., and also in Longwood at Oakmont, Verona, PA. Preceded in death by her parents Grant Arden and Margaret Elizabeth (Williams) Peters; husbands, Myron Meredith Evans, and Morrison Boardman Robbins (Col.
