He will be forever missed by his dedicated, loving wife, Suzanne (Nau) Golicher; and his children Cathleen (Mike) Stewart, Noreen Marree, Cheri (Jesse) Mozeyko, Joseph (Lisa) Golicher, and Tamara McDonough (Mark Krewatch). Proud "Pappy Moose" of Brandon (Maggie) Marree, Brian Marree, Justin (Kortney) Marree, Sean (Amber) Stewart, Connor Stewart, Mitchell Mozeyko, Malena Mozeyko, Kallie Golicher, Mollie Golicher, Dallan Krewatch and Maeve Krewatch.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Lois (O'Malley) Golicher and Harry W. Golicher, Sr., and Grandparents who raised him, Ralph Blaine Golicher and Florence Schultz Golicher; and dear brother-in-law Lee Nau.
Harry was a down to earth man with a strong faith and work ethic as a member of the Floor Coverers & Decorators Local Union 1759. He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, about whom he spoke so often. Harry grew up in Garfield and was proud of his roots. His passion was football, especially Steelers Football, as he played for the Morningside Bulldogs, Peabody High School, and Garfield Saints. Harry was also a Navy veteran. For over 35 years, he lived his dream being part of the Pittsburgh Steelers "Garfield Chain Gang". He traveled the world with Suzanne, always in Steeler gear, meeting people from Pittsburgh all over the world, while also making new friends along the way.
He was blessed to have many close friends, some of whom have passed but will greet him in Heaven with a handshake and a cold one. His dedicated lifelong friends, Ron Gasbarro, Bill Sieber and Ken Gierl have been unfailing in their support and hold a special place in Moose's heart.
He loved his dear "Buffalo NY Family", his late Aunt Grace and cousins Pete and Bud Maguire, who were like brothers to him. Pete's loving children Pam (Gary) Starr, Kevin (Cindy), Tim (Kathleen) and Josette Maguire have meant the world to him; and Florida cousins Rickey, Brian and the late Buddy Maher.
Our family is forever thankful for his loving caretaker, Barb Sparrow and Three Oaks Hospice nurses Janis and Barb, along with nurse aid Bonne. Your gift of care and comfort is appreciated beyond measure.
