Harry Edward Johnston

Harry Edward Johnston, age 82, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 18, 2018. Beloved husband to Doris T. (Barkholt) Johnston; loving father to Bettina (Ed) McQuade; loving grandfather to five grandchildren; daughter in law Terry Johnston; brother to Charles Johnston, and sister Rita Pence (Jerry). Preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Joanne (Sager) Johnston; son Stefan Johnston; sisters Carolyn and Jean. Harry was retired from Duquesne Light with 40 years of service, and also President of Local Union #29. Friends will be received in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp., (412-364-4444) Saturday from 2-4pm and 6pm until time of service at 7:30pm. In Lieu of flowers, family ask that donations be made in Harry's memory to a charity of one's choice.
