Elizabeth Jane Lange

.Elizabeth Jane "Betty" (Kowalski) Lange, 88, of McCandless Township passed away Wednesday, May 25th, 2016. Wife of the late Albert L. Lange; daughter of the late Loretta and Stanley Kowalski; sister of the late Edward, Raymond and Alberta Kowalski, Dorothy Flowers and Elmer Kane. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Betty worked with her husband at Albert Lange Studios in Pittsburgh. She joined the Allegheny General Hospital Auxiliary in 1960 and was a member for 56 years. She volunteered more than 23,000 hours at AGH. Betty holds the record for the most years and hours of service in the history of the hospital. She served as Treasurer and on many Auxiliary Boards, committees and was also a very dedicated volunteer for the families who waited in the hospital's trauma waiting room. She was the creator of the Auxiliary cookbook fundraiser, "Palate Pleasers".

Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service being held on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the H.P.
