Edward W. Kranjcich

89 of McCandless, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma (Heffner) Kranjcich; loving father of George Kranjcich, Sue (Ken) Price and Polly (Mitch) Crilly; grandfather of Shannon Price.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fritz Kranjcich.

Edward was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII. He was a 50 year member of the CFU and a former member of the Highland VFD. Prior to his retirement, he worked for KTG and Pullman Swindell. During his time as project design engineer he had many accomplishments, however he was most proud of the patent he received for a high temperature refractory furnace.

Friends will be received Monday from2-4 and7-9pm in the HP Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Wexford House, c/o Patient Activities, 9850 Old Perry Hwy, Wexford, Pa 15090.
