She canvassed her neighborhood raising funds to start North Hills Passavant Hospital back in the early 1960’s and volunteered in their business office for a number of years. She dearly loved her granddaughters and their families while missing the men in her life who preceded her in death. She loved to host parties, play volleyball, bake cookies at Christmas and made absolutely the best nut bread! She was loyal, a friend you could depend on and could be trusted with your secrets. She will be greatly missed. Donations in her memory can be made to Bridges Hospice, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, Pa. 15146.
