Dorothy L. Heintzinger

Dorothy " Dottie" (Scholze) Heintzinger, age 90, of McCandless Township, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Dorothy was born July 5, 1931n Bloomfield, the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Teresa Lorenze Scholze. She was the sister of Ernest, Louis, and the late Richard.

While in Pittsburgh, Dorothy worked for the University of Pittsburgh for 20 years after which she was employed at Gulf Oil Corp.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur Heintzinger for 45 years. Along with her husband, she moved to a suburb of Jacksonville, FL and led a very active life there for 29 years belonging to the Orange Park Elks Lodge Women's Club, The Clay County Women for Education Club and numerous other Activities.

At the time of her death, Dorothy resided in Cumberland Woods Village.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Linda Tatu of Buffalo, NY. and Arlene Miller of Cranberry Township, two grandsons, Jonathan Miller (Marisa) of Silver Spring, MD and Steven Miller (Paula) of Pittsburgh and one great grandson, Arthur.

She will be missed by her many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM At Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 800 Avila Court Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
