Donna G. Sorrells

Donna G. (Bell) Sorrells, age 61 of Bellevue, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Loving wife of 38 years to Robert Sorrells; devoted mother to Jennifer (Mathew) McPaul of Shaler Township, and Rebecca (Mark) Mikulan of Brighton Heights; exceptionally proud Grammy of Maxwell and Bennett McPaul as well as her sweet angel grandbabies, including baby Mikulan and baby McPaul. She is also survived by her twin brother, Donald Bell of West View and her niece, Debbie Steinert of Penn Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Bell, her siblings Richard and William Bell.

Donna enjoyed spending time at their camp in the mountains near Coalport, PA. While there, Donna was most often out on the lake fishing, one of her most favorite activities (alongside the occasional evening of playing bingo at a local fire hall.) Above all, Donna cherished her family. Tirelessly putting others first; always seeing to it that everyone else was taken care of. Donna was a true matriarch; a woman who worked hard her entire life and yet selflessly gave and provided all that she could. Her love and guidance, and the warmth of her presence will be missed beyond measure.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 2 pm until 4 pm. A funeral service to be held at 6 PM, and visitation will continue until 8 pm at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, (412-364-4444). Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017), Thursday at 11 AM.
