CHARLES, A.

Age 90, of North Hills, passed away October 28, 2010. Loving husband of 50 years to Elizabeth (McCormick) (Meehan) Stahl and the late Mildred Berschneider; father of Richard, Thomas, James, Kevin, Linda Rutsky, Maura Lieberman, Paula Tejchman, Colin, Laurali Gottschalk, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Anne Barnes, and Norina Blynn; also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by siblings Dorothy, John, Larry, and Paul. Chuck was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in WWII and Korea. He worked as a carpenter and was an active member of the Local Carpenters Union 165, and also a member of the St. Teresa of Avila, where he was known as ""Fryer Chuck."" Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1032 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church.
