Catherine (Fisher) Lipp

Catherine (Fisher) Lipp, age 91, of Longmont, Colorado formally of Millvale Pa passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Catherine was born in Pittsburgh, PA. to the late George and Catherine (Wagner) Fisher. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert John Lipp who she married at St. Ann's Church on April 19, 1952, and together they raised their loving daughter Susan Marie (Michael) Rakowski.

Catherine was the example of integrity, grace and kindness. She took immense pride in the accomplishments of those she loved especially her grandchildren Amy (Josh) Newsom, Alan Michael Rakowski and great-grandchildren Caleb and Dylan. Beloved sister of the late Ronald Fisher (April 19, 2023) and the late Robert Fisher.

Throughout her life she was known to have a green thumb. Catherine volunteered at Meals on Wheels and enjoyed reminiscing of her younger years while looking through her old photos.

A visitation for Catherine will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237. A mass of Christian burial will occur on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church Christ the King Parish 210 Garnier Street Pittsburgh PA 15215 burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery 1019 Sharps Hill Road O'Hara Township, PA 15238 at 11AM.
